Caleb A. Petersen
Caleb A. Petersen is a trial attorney focusing his practice on fiduciary litigation, probate administration, and family law. Caleb has represented both plaintiffs and defendants, individuals and corporations in a variety of complex litigation matters throughout Missouri. Caleb's practice is focused on the highly specialized and complex area of probate litigation including fiduciary litigation, trust contests, will contest, power-of-attorney litigation and guardianships often involving multi-million dollar estate and trusts. Further, Caleb dedicates a portion of his practice to family law. He has handled cases for both petitioner and respondent in the effort to resolve the issue in the least taxing and painful way for all parties involved. Caleb has handled cases including dissolution of a marriage, (divorce), modification of child support, modification of child custody, relocation and adoption.
Caleb obtained his undergraduate degree at Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa where he received a B.A. in history and a secondary education teaching license. While at Coe College, Caleb was a member of the Kohawk Football team as well as a teaching assistant and tutor for the history department. Following Coe College, Caleb graduated with a law degree from St. Louis University School of Law. While attending SLU Law Caleb gained valuable legal experience through clerkships with a small real estate litigation firm in Rancho Mirage, California and a downtown St. Louis criminal defense and litigation firm. Further, while working at SLU Law Legal Clinic, Caleb represented elder law clients in matters of estate planning and guardianships.
Caleb lives in the City of St. Louis with his wife and two children.
